SHOKO Agri CO., LTD. was established in January 2008, taking over the fertilizer business from SHOKO CO., LTD., with the purpose of providing needed services to communities in a speedy manner.

As for the history of our fertilizer business, we started production of mixed fertilizer “GOKOKU” and organic compound fertilizer “AMINO,” which were issued the first patent in Japan for fertilizers in 1953. Since then, we have developed and sold environmentally-friendly products, such as various types of soil conditioners, trace-element fertilizers and microbial materials, ahead of competitors. In recent years, in a joint development project with Ajinomoto, we have been manufacturing “IKUOU,” which stimulates growth of plant roots utilizing nucleic acids, and “HANAKAGAMI,” which stimulates growth of flowers and fruits utilizing amino acids. In addition to manufacturing various types of fertilizers as a manufacturer, we also function as a trading firm for selling various agricultural materials, importing raw materials of fertilizers, and exporting products. We provide a rich selection of products to promptly meet the diversified requirements from agricultural production sites.

Nowadays, environmental preservation and food safety have become major social issues. In the increasingly diverse situation we now face, with agricultural technical guidance we will pursue human- and earth-friendly agricultural techniques which include effective utilization of limited resources, and provide and develop agriculture related materials.
