SI Science Co., Ltd. came into being on October 1, 2009, taking on the stable isotope group of the Analytical Instrument Department of Shoko Co., Ltd. The company’s history started in 1972 when it introduced facilities from the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research and began to manufacture“heavy nitrogen ¹⁵N”at Kawaguchi Works (the company’s name at that time was Hikari Kogyo K.K.). In 1989, the facilities were transferred to Sugito Town. Since then, as the only heavy nitrogen manufacturer in Japan, we enrich heavy nitrogen, provide various stable isotope labeling reagents, and perform analytical services using various analytical instruments.
