When was Shoko founded?
In May 1947, we were established as Hikari Kogyo Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Nishi Hatchobori, Tokyo), with the support of Showa Denko K.K. and Ajinomoto Co., Inc., to market chemicals and fertilizers in Japan while also importing and exporting them.
